Mission Statement
We, the family of Our Lady of the Rosary, by the power of
the Holy Spirit, are committed to being witnesses of Christ by proclaiming the good news,
by ministering to the needs of God's people, reaching out to the underprivileged, and
lifting the spirit of the hurting. May our actions as a Catholic Community be such that
they will know we are Christians by our love.
Prayer
to Avert Storms and Hurricanes
Please pray this prayer daily throughout Hurricane Season.
Father, all the elements of nature obey your command. Calm the storms and hurricanes that
threaten us and turn our fear of your power into praise of your goodness. Grant this
through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
