
The Larose Regional Park
and Civic Center was opened in May of 1981 and has become the home for
a diverse cross-section of programs which promote cultural and economic
development along with good health in the community.

The Bayou Civic Club serves the South Lafourche
community. It also serves as a tourist center. Among the attractions
for tourist are the camp grounds, the park, community attractions and
of course, our famous festivals. The Cajun Heritage Festival, Family
Fun Festival, and the French Food Festival are held on the Civic Center
grounds each year. The park also facilitates the parking of campers
and motor homes. Tourists are welcome any time of the year.
